Arrest made in Jesie Gran Fondo hit-and-run

The driver who allegedly swerved into four cyclists during the Marin Jesie Gran Fondo and then sped off has been arrested, reports SF Gate .  Thankfully a motorcyclist had a dashcam on his helmet and captured details of the pickup truck that struck the cyclists, which greatly helped CHP make the arrest. Tour de Peninsula, August 2, San Mateo

Family to casual to mildly strenuous group ride, benefitting San Mateo County Parks, and starting and finishing at Coyote Point Park , this Tour de Peninsula drew 2,000 cyclists in 2007 (before taking the year off in 2008). An Official Teaser has been posted in advance of a registration website.
